Overview

The Integrated and Specialty Behavioral Health department includes licensed master’s level and doctoral level providers who are integrated into primary care settings as well as some specialty care settings.  The Behavioral Health Consultant works together with the Primary Care Providers within the primary care home and are available to the primary care clinic population for brief intervention/assessment services.

 

The Integrated and Specialty Behavioral Health Coordinator is responsible for employing standard project management methods and techniques to ensure successful completion of projects. Responsible for managing small to medium projects following all project management standards as set forth by the St. Charles Health System. May also assist Manager with medium, large, enterprise level projects/programs. The Project Coordinator will take responsibility for coordinating and supporting Manager and program office scheduling and performing all necessary administrative duties.

 

This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.

 

Responsibilities

Functions as the Project Coordinator for the Integrated and Specialty Behavioral Health program.

 

Independently prepares complex documentation, reports, charts, graphs, presentations, research and spreadsheets at designate intervals and as requested.

 

Coordinates special projects.

 

Develops advanced presentation materials.

 

Prioritizes and resolves inquiries via phone, email and/or in person.

 

Acts as liaison between departments and external groups including Physicians.

 

Coordinates and supports a variety of meetings including agendas, correspondence, and minutes.

 

Performs office procedures and tasks. Must have constant awareness of the legal aspects of position and projects working on.

 

Manages Clinical Manager, Integrated and Specialty Behavioral Health calendar and schedules appropriately.

 

Performs other related work as directed by the Manager and maintains a high level of confidentiality when deemed necessary.

 

Effectively interacts with physicians, BHCs and community members.

 

Assists in ensuring that project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe and guidelines established by the relevant stakeholders and management committees on assigned projects.

 

Assists with preparing the overall communication plan and related project status reports for key stakeholders.

 

Assists in managing the overall project dependencies and ensures project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget.

 

Provides calendar and meeting support as required.

 

Responsible for completing project tasks as assigned.

 

Supports the vision, mission and values of the organization in all respects.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

                  

Required: High School Diploma.          

Preferred: Degree in associated fields.

EXPERIENCE

 

Required: Three (3) years of healthcare experience in an administrative role.

Physical Requirements

Continually (75% or more): Standing and walking, keyboard operation, use of clear and audible speaking voice and the ability to hear normal speech level. Frequently (50%): Sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing or pulling 1-25 pounds. Occasionally (25%): Bending, stooping/kneeling/crouching, reaching overhead, grasping/squeezing, ability to hear whispered speech level. Rarely (10%): Climbing stairs.
